Jill
Hi Again! I'm Jill and I'm the small, kinda weird, fun-loving human that has been building Apex Insurance since 2017.
My senior year of high school, a really good friend and I won first place in a district FBLA website design contest. My first sales position after high school was selling computer components and helping people do computer builds on the side.
I started to sell insurance in 2009 and literally, haven't stopped since. In 2013 I started to work as a Finance and Insurance manager at a motorcycle and off-road dealership, Diamond Motor Sports, in Dover, Delaware. I was able to provide loans on motorcycles, dirt bikes, and ATVs, AND insured them. (It was freaking awesome!) All the while I was working full time, I was also attending college and graduated Delta Mu Delta with a Bachelor of Science in Business in 2016.
I use my 10 years of insurance and finance experience along with my passion for technology and electronics to build Apex Insurance every day. It's the best decision I've ever made.
I didn't commence forth as an entrepreneur to do things the way everyone else does. It’s important to provide a business where customers can insure their most valued property easily, inexpensively and with the comfort of knowing they are protected no matter what.
Jess
Hi there, I'm Jess and I'm Jill's sister as well as her office manager. :)
In 2016 I graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor's of Science in Information Technology, and from there I went on gathering all different types of hats working as a freelance web and graphic designer. Freelance work taught me an encyclopedia's worth of knowledge, but I found the consistency to be unreliable, which was why when my sister asked me to be a part of Apex Insurance I was overjoyed.
Working at home as a full time mom has it's challenges, there's no doubt about that, but I couldn't be anything other than grateful to be here! The possibilities are endless!
Watching the world change over the past two years as I've worked virtually and side by side with Jill, her positive mindset and achievements has been one of my biggest inspirations.
One of my favorite things about Apex is that the flexibility of a digital insurance company brings with it the ability to adapt and grow with the environment, all the while remaining connected to what is most important at the core, the customer. In other words, you!
"How do you build relationships with customers without an office?"
It's not sorcery, the answer to that is easy.
Daily and better than most of those WITH a brick and mortar. I encourage customers to follow me on any social media form that they like. I am active on social media and exist to my customers every. single. day.
There is no better way to engage with customers AND educate about insurance at the same time.
We live in a time where social media lets us be completely transparent. This is great for me because I truly, don't know how to be anyone other than 100% me.
I love interacting with customers on social media. I love writing and understanding policies in multiple states. I LOVE what I have created for my customer base and it's only going to get to better.
It's plain and simple. Apex Insurance is great because I love what I do.
But, there are also a few other things that make Apex Insurance SO GREAT.
How is Apex Different?
As an insurance agent, I put value over price.
I provide customers with education about their insurance policies and do a comprehensive analysis of everything that they have insured. I provide customers with quotes for how their policies SHOULD be written in a way that reflects their best interest, not the best rate. We pay for insurance our ENTIRE lives and it's important to have an insurance agent that has your back!
I write insurance with my heart and always have. You should have an agent that CARES how you're covered.
